Privacy Policy

The short version: Wristone does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything the app does happens on your device. This page explains what that means in detail.

1. Information we collect

None. Wristone does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, device identifiers, usage analytics, or telemetry. The app does not require an account, does not ask for your email, and does not include any sign-in flow.

2. Audio files you choose to import

When you import an audio file, Wristone copies it into the app's private storage on your iPhone. When you transfer a file to your Apple Watch, it moves directly from your iPhone to your paired watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — a local, device-to-device channel. Your files are never uploaded to us or to any third party, and deleting a file in the app (or deleting the app) removes it from the device.

3. Network activity

Wristone does not make any network requests as part of its core functionality. There is no backend, no cloud service, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising network embedded in the app.

The only communication the app performs is between your own iPhone and your own paired Apple Watch (file transfers, playback status, and the watch's storage level). The "Contact Support" button in Settings opens a pre-filled email draft in your mail app; nothing is sent unless you choose to send it.

4. What is stored on your device

Wristone stores the following locally on your devices:

The audio files you import (on iPhone) and the copies you transfer (on Apple Watch)
A catalog of your library — titles, artists, durations, and file sizes read from the files' own metadata
Which items are currently on your watch

This data is stored locally in your app's sandbox and is automatically removed when you delete the app.

5. Third-party services

Wristone does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs in the app.

6. Children

Wristone is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. App Tracking Transparency

Wristone does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. The App Tracking Transparency prompt is therefore not shown.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a future version of the app, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Material changes will also be noted in the app's "What's New" release notes on the App Store.
